    Regardless of where you are in your professional career if you've ever wanted to excel to the next relationship level, this is the book for you. Real world examples, through years of trial and error sprinkled with real-life trials and tribulations. Paul shares his successes, failures and embarrassments, which aligns his humanity with the reader. I found Paul took a humble approach to a radically selfish and self motivated topic, using personal influence to build relationships that serve those around you.

    Showing up at an open house and providing a video testimonial and walkthrough sent out to his network with zero in return is an example of the type of influence Paul builds; influence with roots and purpose. When this type of relationship is watered by both individuals they become symbiotic and selfless, often leading to mutual beneficial outcomes. Later in the story it is revealed that one of Paul's home tour videos helped a realtor sell a home. Selfless relationship building we tend to opt out of, it is hard, it is slow and there are no immediate gains. It's a long game. A game that when played right and with the right intention will always land you among the stars.

    Very practical book about the marginalized practice of leading people and serving to help them instead of pushing and coercing to help yourself. I could really connect with the author's personal stories. I appreciate his honesty and transparency which helped me see dozens of different applications to this content. As a leader in a non-profit, my first "eureka" happened before I finished the book. In my tendency to reduce a social exchange down to a dollar sign, I remembered that my responsibility is to get my clients, my volunteers AND my donors to the places they need to be. They all have needs and my one job is to meet that need. I appreciate the reminder to actually take time to care and express genuine interest in everyone in my sphere of influence.

    This is one of the first books I'd read if I were to go into business all over again. It's straight to the point and immensely valuable.

    The author and I actually connected in a networking group years ago when I did launch my first business. What's amazing about this book is that I've seen Paul utilize the same principles he writes about to grow massive influence as an insurance agent in the Olympia, Washington area.

    This book encompasses a lot of what Paul stands for and provides amazing advice.
