- Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2007As a leadership trainer for nonprofit executive directors and middle managers I am always searching for resources and tools that will help nonprofit managers develop their skills. This workbook is an excellent tool for helping managers identify their strengths and areas for improvement. The exercises in the book along with the inspiring stories are very useful and really put perspective on how managers can and do influence the work environment and the people they manage. Let's face it managing talent is key to any successful organization and good leadership is critical for that to happen. I have been a big fan of Kouzes and would also recommend the Leadership Challenge.
