It's about how Dean Smith used sport to teach invaluable life lessons to young men laying the foundations of their lives. Yes, I've always been an admirer of Coach Smith, but this book by Dave Chadwick really makes me miss Coach and his ways even more. There will never be another Dean Smith; whether you liked his teams or hated them, you were lucky to have seen him at work in the lives of his players, whether you know it or not.

    An inspirational book about the man I have always tried to emulate in my own life. Everyone needs to read this book to find what the true value of a life can be. Thank you David Chadwick for taking the time to share this story and principles of a great man. When I read the tributes to Coach Smith, a few tears fill my eyes when I think about him being gone from the world. Then, I realize that he will always be here in his players, friends and with the many lives Coach Smith touched. I never played for Coach Smith, but I love Carolina and count myself among the people blessed to have met the man to have been inspired by him.
