The SteriPen is a device originally made for outdoor enthusiasts to sterilize their drinking water. It uses an ultra violet lamp to accomplish this. Needless to say, nothing was ever invented for the water treatment industry, we simply find something that works and adapt it over to serve us. The SteriPen is no acceptation to this. The SteriPen is a very portable and convenient way to digest phosphonate in water sampling. To use the SteriPen in your sampling procedures, you will need to purchase a few items.
